    In 2015, Attorney Tomas Cabrera joined our personal injury team at Morici, Figlioli & Associates as an Associate Attorney. Prior to joining as an Attorney Mr. Cabrera served as the firms Law Clerk being tutored and mentored in all aspects of negligence litigation. Not too long after becoming part of our team, Mr. Cabrera began handling various accident cases as an associate attorney. Because he is dedicated to protecting the rights of individuals harmed due to the negligence and recklessness of others, he spends the majority of his practice handling cases involving construction site negligence, premises liability, automobile negligence, products liability, and wrongful death litigation. As one of the firms most active trial lawyers, he has tried multiple personal injury suits to verdict.

    Mr. Cabrera has won multiple awards including The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 for 2019. Mr. Cabrera has recovered millions of dollars for his clients and strives in every case to offer personalized, compassionate representation to each one of his clients.

    Before committing his career to judiciary work, Mr. Cabrera attended Loyola University Chicago, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History and Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Following his undergraduate coursework, he enrolled at John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, where he earned his Juris Doctorate, graduating cum laude and earning a spot on the Dean’s List.

    Currently, Mr. Cabrera holds memberships in various associations, including the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the Cuban American Bar Association. He lives in the northern suburbs with his wife and three kids.
