Backed by decades of experience, Attorney David Figlioli brings ample amounts of knowledge and experience to our legal team at Morici, Figlioli & Associates. From the start of his legal career, Mr. Figlioli has been dedicated to fighting for the rights and interests of those injured by reckless, negligent, and careless individuals and entities. He is capable of handling a variety of personal injury claims but spends the bulk of his time handling cases that involve workers’ compensation, a police officer and firefighter disability pension claims, and claims involving the PSEBA and PEDA statues.
Since 2002, Mr. Figlioli has maintained an AV® Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®, and since 2009 has been designated by SuperLawyers as being in the top percentage of lawyers practicing within his field of workers’ compensation. Moreover, for the past three years, he has been listed as a Leading Lawyer which is achieved through the nomination of his peers. He holds membership in several associations, including the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Justinian Society of Lawyers, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association. Additionally, he is on the Board of Managers for the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
Before committing his life to judiciary work, Mr. Figlioli attended Concordia University, where he achieved his undergraduate degree in education. Following his undergraduate coursework, Mr. Figlioli enrolled at the John Marshall Law School where he earned his Juris Doctorate, graduating magna cum laude. Mr. Figlioli’s most recent successes include the Illinois Appellate Court decisions in Marquardt v. City of Des Plaines and Cronin v. Village of Skokie wherein a police officer and firefighter respectively were awarded benefits under PSEBA that were initially denied to them by these municipalities.
