James J. Morici, Jr. Celebrates 30th Anniversary

James J. Morici, Jr., founding partner of Morici, Longo & Associates, is celebrating his 30th anniversary of being admitted into the Illinois Bar. Jim has dedicated his life’s work to representing seriously injured plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death litigation since 1987.

After being admitted to the Illinois Bar in November of 1979, Jim started his legal career as an Assistant State’s Attorney. He quickly attained the position of First Chair Prosecutor at the Criminal Courts Building. In 1987, Jim began practicing in the field of plaintiff’s personal injury litigation.

Over the past thirty years, Jim has not only successfully represented hundreds of seriously injured plaintiffs; he also has been a strong presence in the legal community. Jim is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Board of Governors and a manager of the Illinois Trial Lawyer’s Association.

He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyer’s Association, and is a past President of the Justinian Society of Lawyers. He is a graduate of DePaul University and ITT/Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he graduated with highest honors.
