3 injured in NW Side crash

Three people were injured -- reportedly in serious to critical condition -- in a traffic crash on the Northwest Side early Saturday.

The accident occurred about 12:20 a.m. at Elston and Cicero avenues, according to police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer.

The crash involved two cars, and three people were injured, Greer said, but no other details were immediately available.

According to unconfirmed dispatch reports, the three victims were in serious to critical condition.
