2 hurt in Logan Square crash

One person has been badly hurt in a three-vehicle collision in the Logan Square neighborhood early Thursday on the Northwest Side.The crash happened about 2:15 a.m. near the intersection of Milwaukee and Fullerton avenues, according to a Shakespeare District police lieutenant who said a narrative of how the wreck happened was not immediately available. One person is is “bad shape” at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, according to the lieutenant  who said at least one other person who was less seriously injured was taken to Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center. As of 6:45 a.m., the area remains blocked off to traffic as personnel from the police Major Accident Investigation Unit investigate, the lieutenant said.
